Jason Schwartzman’s new noir comedy on HBO Bored to Death is a big favorite.  If you haven’t seen it, it is really hip and deadpan and Ted Danson is absolutely hysterical, continually stealing the show.  Did you know Jason Schwartzman also has a band called Coconut Records and this is a super song “Microphone?”

Some related rock/tv/Schwartzman trivia; you know the song from the OC tv show “California” by Phantom Planet?  Jason Schwartzman was the original drummer from that band!  Check out the Bored to Death video below:
