Last September, Pastor Brad Johnson married celeb daughter Khloe Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom. With a guest list hosting Kobe Bryant to Ryan Seacrest, the event was broadcast in the season premiere of “Keeping Up,” more than 3 million people watched.
Shortly after, Kris Jenner, former wife of late attorney Robert Kardashian, began seeking Brad to head a new church. After finding Johnson working at a local Starbucks, Jenner pitched his idea for Brad to lead a church in Calabasas. That’s when Brad’s personal struggle began.
With a questionable past involving suicide attempts and resignation from, Brad had some struggles to work through. The new church, which will begin January 10th in a Calabasas Theater, will be based off the principle of acceptance. Brad thinks it will resemble something closer to an Alcoholic Anonymous meeting rather than a church service.
