Annual Gala Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce

The Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their Annual Gala this Friday evening, February 26, 2010, at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 15433 Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, CA. This annual gathering will be celebrated this year with an Installation Dinner including fun festivities with a Casino Night and dancing to the exciting music by Dandy DJ. Tickets are $65 per person, and you can obtain a table at $600. Included with the fare comes free parking, dinner and lots of play money! There will also be a silent auction with a variety of opportunities to win something.

Dr. Robert Cohen shall be sworn in as President of the Chamber making it a back-to-back posture as the President for 2 consecutive years. Dr. Cohen has been dedicated to the Chamber and the Community for well over 20 years. It is with great pride that he has the opportunity to serve the Community for another year in such a salient position. Those who served on the Board of Directors last year will be commemorated, and all current Directors will also be sworn in. Also given recognition will be Chamber Assistant Director, Susan Guesler, on her retirement.

Elected Officials, and their representatives that are expected to be in attendance, are Councilmember Paul Krekorian, Councilmember Paul Koretz, Assemblymember Mike Feuer, Representatives from Brad Sherman’s Office and Zev Yaroslavsky’s Office; Barri Worth, West Valley Director for Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa, as well as Assemblyman Bob Blumenfield and Field Deputy John Poppoch.
