For the last 30 years, Far West Farms on Old Scandia Lane in Calabasas has been training horses and riders. Far West Farms has won numerous blue ribbon awards and their students have won titles such as the Pacific Coast Horse Show Association and the Unites States Hunter Jumper Association competitions. But behind the success is the legendary Nick Karazissis and his family who have been running the place since 1971.

Karazissis offers all types of lessons and boarding options. Prices range from $700 a month for training and $750-$1600 for boarding accommodations.
