LA County firemen battled a brush fire near Calabasas City Hall that broke out last Sunday around 1:30pm. Roughly 200 firefighters and water-dropping helicopters were on the scene, and the far right lane of the westbound Ventura Freeway was closed to allow fire equipment access. So far, the cause of the fire has not been determined.
