Yozen Frogurt is a locally owned Frozen Yogurt shop that started in April of 2007 in the Platt Village Shopping Center in West Hills. I think they thrived from the beginning because of one thing: their incredible yogurt. While most yogurt and ice cream shops buy their product from manufactures, Yozen Frogurt develops their own flavors and they are truly wonderful.

They started off with a signature tart vanilla they call “White Cloud” and today have: “Red Velvet Cake,” “Mango Tango,” “Double Chocolate Velvet,” “Pomegranate,” “Wild Strawberry,” and their latest “Chocolate Hazelnut Gelato” which tastes like Nutella and many, many more.yozen frogurt

You really have to hand it to owners Reed and Karin Kennedy they developed and continue to evolve a unique and special product and despite the difficult economic environment they made a success with one of the toughest business’ you can operate a restaurant! Yozen Frogurt in West Hills just went self-serve which seems like the trend in Frozen Yogurt these days but the bottom line is no matter how you serve it, it tastes great!

Yozen Frogurt is located at:
6450 Plattt Ave, West Hills
2416 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks
2900 Townsgate Road, Westlake Village

Who are “they” you ask? They are the buyers. The #1 upgrades that “they”PinkHouse
want.

If you are living in a home that still has cottage cheese ceilings then get
rid of it! Yes, it is messy. Yes, you might have to leave the house for
a few days. Yes, I know that you have lived with it for all these years and
you are okay with it. And Yes, the buyer could do it when you move out.
BUT they won’t buy your home….not unless the price reflects it 10 times
over! The cottage cheese ceilings age your home. Buyer’s don’t comment
when you don’t have it but when you do, they have a lot to say.

And PINK.  I hear buyer’s saying, “all these Morrison Ranch homes are pink,Asbestos_popcorn_ceiling_texture
what’s that about?”  So if you have an opportunity to take your home out of
the 80′s then that’s the next step.  What are the “newest” neutrals, you
ask. The experts are saying, taupe’s and grays and golds.

And gold. The buyer’s do not like gold (yes, they liked it in paint but not
on the metals). They want all the fixtures and fittings in our homes to be
silver or black or nickel. You can have all the gold dipped, I hear.

Now saying all this, I worry that next year I will be putting out a
newsletter saying that PINK is the new neutral and gold fixtures are
back! I can bet on it though that cottage cheese ceilings are not coming
back!
